Description
The Choice: Islam and Christian by Ahmed Deedat
The Choice: Islam and Christianity, authored by Ahmed Deedat, is a powerful collection of the Shaykh’s most popular booklets on Islam and Christianity. Bringing together his widely distributed comparative religion works, this volume reflects Deedat’s bold, engaging, and debate-driven style. While presented in a durable reference-quality hardback edition, the interior retains his distinctive emphasis-driven formatting, designed to capture attention and provoke reflection. The book explores the figure of Jesus as a prophet who taught the Unity of God, and examines historical theological developments within Christianity. It discusses early followers who upheld strict monotheism, surveys various early Christian groups, and addresses doctrinal developments such as the Trinity and the Council of Nicaea (325 A.D.). Drawing from sources including the Gospel of Barnabas and other early writings, as well as references from the Qur’an and Hadith, Deedat presents his perspective on key differences between Islamic and mainstream Christian theology.
